This 1973 Norton Commando 850 Roadster was acquired in 2020 by the seller who carried out a refurbishment in 2021. The bike is powered by an 828cc air-cooled parallel twin paired with a four-speed transmission and is finished in yellow. Features include a black Corbin seat, a front disc brake, and a black-finished dual exhaust system. This Commando is now offered at no reserve with a spare gearbox and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The bodywork is finished in yellow with black accents, and features include a black Corbin seat, black light housings, and a side stand. The seller notes a dent on the lower-left side of the fuel tank.

Wire-spoke wheels are wrapped with a mixed set of Avon and Bridgestone tires measuring 90/90-19″ up front and 120/80-18″ out back. Suspension consists of a Roadholder telescopic fork as well as dual shocks mounted to the swingarm. Braking is handled by a front disc and rear drum.

Instrumentation includes a 150-mph Smiths speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline. The five-digit odometer shows 58 miles, though total mileage is unknown.

The Isolastic rubber-mounted 828cc air-cooled parallel twin is equipped with dual Amal carburetors, a kick starter, and a dual exhaust system. Output was rated at 60 horsepower when new.

Power is transferred to the rear wheel through a replacement four-speed transmission with a right-side shifter. The removed gearbox, which displays a number matching the one stamped on the engine case, is included in the sale.

The number 300218 stamped on the engine case matches the number stamped on the headstock plate, a photo of which is provided in the gallery.
